They&#8217;ll develop this foundation in the context of working on their own games built with visual scripting that they can be proud of and share with friends and family. Over the course of the program, students will learn about data types, control statements, and logic, and use these skills to develop their own 2D top-down games while learning about techniques used in the software and game development industries. These techniques include following a development process, iterating effectively,\u202fand integrating design, art, audio, and programming into a single, cohesive experience.<\/p><p>New and returning students are welcome to join this class. They'll develop this foundation in the context of working on their own games built with visual scripting that they can be proud of and share with friends and family. Over the course of the program, students will learn about data types, control statements, and logic, and use these skills to develop their own 2D top-down games while learning about techniques used in the software and game development industries. These techniques include following a development process, iterating effectively,\u202fand integrating design, art, audio, and programming into a single, cohesive experience.<\/p><p>New and returning students are welcome to join this class.
