Open World is excited whenever DigiPen faculty members and other expert creative professionals want to share their knowledge directly with the next generation of creators. In this, our very first Masterclass offered as an interactive online experience, students from anywhere in the world will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced instructor in an engaging, focused environment.
We’re proud to offer this Narrative Design masterclass, taught by Angie Forster from DigiPen’s Department of Design. The curriculum will cover storytelling and worldbuilding for interactive media such as video games, tabletop roleplaying games, and more. Students will learn how professionals in the industry craft detailed character backstories and arcs that keep players engaged with their narrative. By the end of the Masterclass, students will be able to take everything they’ve learned and apply it to their own exciting game projects and playgroups with their friends!
