Game Development Rapid Prototyping (3 Day)
Three-Day Workshop, Dates Offered:
Session 1B (7/1/24–7/3/24)
Tuition: $659
Special three-day workshop running Monday, July 1, to Wednesday, July 3!
Professional game and software developers often participate in fast-paced design challenges to foster creativity, enhance problem-solving abilities, and refine their teamwork skills. These events especially benefit aspiring developers early in their careers, supplying a solid foundation of knowledge about development pipelines, the complexities of game design, and the importance of teamwork.
In this three-day Innovators workshop, students will be introduced to the core concepts of game development and teamwork, operating in teams like their own game studios. These teams will bring their ideas together while learning how to design simple game mechanics, create prototypes rapidly, and iterate on ideas until their game is complete.
At every step, instructors will guide students through their project, giving suggestions, encouragement, and ensuring the scope of their work is achievable within the workshop’s intensive timeframe.
