For young learners, expressing themselves through art can be a crucial stage in their development, and the artwork they create at this age often become cherished keepsakes. While they may have plenty of time to practice and improve their craft, it’s never too early to pick up some of the tried-and-true principles of animation and sculpting.
This introductory workshop for Explorers shows young students the techniques that bring what they see in their mind into the real world through their art and sculptures. Instructors will guide students through the basics of drawing, painting, and sculpting, leading into a better understanding of how to bring their creations to life, from start to finish.
By the end of the workshop, students will be able to apply their new understanding of design fundamentals to bring all of their future artwork to life.
Projects in this workshop may include: Designing a Pokémon and storytelling with Lego stop-motion animation tools.
