Session 1B (7/1/24–7/3/24)
Tuition: $659
Special three-day workshop running Monday, July 1, to Wednesday, July 3!
Professional game developers frequently engage in Game Jams, fast-paced design challenges meant to build community and enhance their skills. By participating in these events, developers gain hands-on experience, develop innovative solutions, and learn from their peers.
Students in this three-day Adventurers workshop will be introduced to the core concepts of game development and teamwork, operating like their own game studio. Each development team will bring their ideas together while learning how to design simple game mechanics, create prototypes rapidly, and iterate on ideas until their game is complete.
At every step, instructors will guide students through their project, giving suggestions, encouragement, and ensuring the scope of their work is achievable within the workshop’s intensive timeframe.
