Programming games with actual code means unlocking deeper control over how games behave, from custom combat systems to complex puzzle mechanics. Learning Lua scripting reveals how professional Roblox developers create sophisticated gameplay that goes beyond basic building, opening possibilities for more ambitious and unique game ideas.
Adventurers will expand their Roblox skills by writing code that controls game behavior and creates custom mechanics. Students learn text-based programming while discovering how to script interactive systems, design engaging challenges, and build games with more technical depth. Their ProjectFUN game showcases their coding abilities, proving they can program the complex mechanics that make games truly unique.
Projects in this workshop may include: Creating a wave-based survival game or designing a mystery game with hidden clues
