Join us for an evening packed with exciting unveilings of new experiences at the Mitchell Museum!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

This <\/span>premium event is open to the public. Admission is free for Mitchell Museum members and Tribal Citizens; $25 for non-members, $15 for youth<\/span>. Be among the first to witness the unveiling of our new mural and meet the 9 young artists that created it. <\/span>The mural is part of a collaboration with St. Kateri Youth Circle, a non-profit that provides programming on Native American values and traditions for Native youth in the Chicago area.<\/span>\u00a0We will also be revealing our new online exhibit that highlights the exceptional children\u2019s books <\/span>Atika\u2019s Medicine <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>I\u2019m Not A Costume <\/span><\/i>by author Maria Des Jarlait <\/span>(Arikara, Ojibwe),\u00a0<\/span><\/i>who<\/span> will also be on hand to share her stories and sign copies of her books for attendees.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The evening will also include food catered by Native American Foods and casual tours of our new Indigenous Medicine Garden as well as our Collections!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are excited to announce two new perks for our all our members: Exclusive member walking tours and checking out books from our library!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
